TheLittleDot was set up to offer competitvely priced, high quality dynamic web site solutions to small to medium businesses. The server environment was Debian Linux with Apache, PHP4 and MySQL. My role was to develop the backend systems and administer our public servers.
TheLittleDot also contracted out technical skills to the IT contract market. We successfully completed a range of contracts from web design and development to systems setup and administration for clients in the West Sussex area.
I worked on several large projects during this period, including the development of a complete content management system for a travel company which allowed administration of four company websites. I also developed a complete web application for a charity in Portsmouth which allows them to maintain and adminster their case history and to efficiently make that data available to nationwide offices.
